Celebrity Diet Plan – Watch out for Red Flags

Celebrity Diet Red Flags – What to Look Out For.

Is the flood of Hollywood miracle diet plans drawing you in?

Are all the latest celebrity impulse diets, new fitness programs, diet plan and weight loss books luring you in?

BEWARE!

More often than not, these diets are often unhealthier than you realize!

WATCH OUT FOR THE RED FLAGS!

For the average person, it is difficult to work out whether a diet is going to have a good impact on your body or whether it will lead to something worse later on.  Hence a person is drawn in by the celebrity themselves without a thought about possible health risks to the celebrity diet plan.

It is vital that everyone knows about these health risks.

An immediate red flag is when a food product or supplement is being sold with the weight loss plan.

You need to think about all the red flags before deciding to buy:

1. One problem with this is it may end up being too costly for your personal budget.

2. You need to look at whether the supplement is available to your location as well.

3. It is also advisable to find out whether the supplement is really as good as it is made out to be.

4. Does the plan fit your own personal needs?  Not everyone is the same.

5. Also be aware there are a lot of scams out there!

All of those things need to be considered carefully before you decide to buy into the celebrity diet plan.

When you feel yourself starting to be drawn in by the good looking celebrity, you need to remember that they are paid to look good.  If they do not look their best, it is usually bad for their career!

They can afford to have chefs, coaches, beauty therapists and personal trainers to help make them look so good.  As most people do not have the good fortune of such a resource they will not have the same impressive results from the diet plan.

So the rest of us whom are not celebrities, need to uncover our own motivations to go on a healthy eating program… and stick to it.

A common red flag to look out for is if the celebrity is coming up with selling points which seem too good to be true.  If you hear “lose 15 pounds in just a week!” this sounds too good to be true.  And so it probably is.

Another red flag to look out for in every diet – not just celebrity diet plans – is ones which are focused on one very specific nutrient such as proteins or carbohydrates which is supposedly the secret to their success.

There is no one miracle food.

There is no miracle weight loss pill.

A diet should be balanced.

Why do most of us turn a blind eye to these red flags when it comes to celebrity diets and their products, books and plans?

Red flags are often ignored because we are so distracted by the celebrity status.  The diet is not what is drawing us in.  It is how the celebrity looks.

A lot of people want to look like the celebrity.

A lot of people want to actually BE them!

Sometimes it is easy to slip into the illusion – if we look as good as them, we will be well known just like them.

So the safest idea is to have a think about what they are selling.  Cover the picture and think about whether you would buy the product if it wasn’t a well known celebrity promoting it.

Think about whether they would know what they are doing or not.  If the celebrity is a respected nutritionist and the red flags are down then go ahead - feel free to buy their diet plan or book.
