Movie Star Diet – what are the most popular celebrity diets?

What Is Different About Movie Star Diets from Normal People Diets?

Why do celebrities always manage to look great and we don’t?

How come celebrities can lose weight at the drop of a hat whereas regular people like us just don’t seem to be able to?

Usually celebrities have personal chefs and fitness coaches.

Most ordinary folk don’t.

Another small thing which might make a difference is the regular persons’ lack of a couple of million dollar reputation to uphold.

Movie Star Diet:

Begun by Dr Barry Sears, The Zone Diet is one of the favourites amongst celebrities.  Jennifer Aniston, Renee Zellweger, Demi Moore, Sarah Jessica Parker, Sandra Bullock, Charlie Sheen and Jennifer Garner all owe their sexyness to this diet.

The South Beach Diet was tested by Hillary Duff and Bette Midler.

The Atkins Diet is based on low-carb/ no carb foods and has seen Donald Trump and Minnie Driver lose weight.

Vegetarian diets are also fairly well represented amongst film star diets.

Pamela Anderson (spokesperson for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), Bernadette Peters, Alicia Silverstone, Amber Valetta, Anne Hathaway, Brigitte Bardot and Alyssa Milanoare all vegetarians.

Sometimes there are film idols who have to follow their own diets.  Hale Berry is a Type1 diabetic and for this reason eats low-carb foods.

What Diets do Sports Athletes Follow?

There are lots of vegetarian sports stars such as Joe Namath, Bill Manetti, Jim Kaat, Leroy Burrell, Rick Mc Crank, Lucy Stephens, Bille Jean King, and Mike Manzoori.

Because sports are so active, those who play them often eat high-carb foods to keep them going.  This encourages their bodies to store glycogen. A much different process from the movie star diet.

Carbohydrate foods such as potatoes, pasta, rice or bread should be the basis of meals.

Studies say people who are very active, such as those who play lots of sport, should eat small amounts of fatty foods such as pies, cheese and meat, and should eat more bread and potatoes instead.

A lot of sports stars reportedly drink fruit juice with their meals and don’t have milk until bedtime.  If they want a snack during the day, they might eat fresh or dried fruit.

Athletes also get dehydrated easily so they have to drink lots of water to stop them from losing too much fluid.

Losing Pregnancy Weight Gain:

There are lots of diets which celebrities follow to throw the weight they gained during pregnancy.  Heidi Klum went on the 3-Hour diet and lost 48 pounds.

The facial analysis diet helped Kate Winslet lose 55 pounds.  Jenny McCarthy put on 80 pounds when she was expecting then lost weight when she joined weight watchers.

When she was pregnant, Leah Remini gained 80 pounds.  She then went to Jenny Craig and also followed the First Personal Diet which is a diet based on an individual’s metabolism which helped her lose the weight again.
