Stars Diets – What makes a Celebrity Diet?

So What Makes a Diet a Celebrity Diet? Why not try one of these.....

If a famous singer or actor is claiming their sexy body is due to some specific diet, then this diet is often referred to as a “celebrity diet”.

There are a lot of low carbohydrate diets highly recommended by celebrities who say these diets are the cause of their speedy weight loss.

A lot of these stars diets are based on a stunt such as claiming that a celebs incredible body is due to a specific fruit or drink which they have at every meal.

Feeling fatigued or weakened is one of the major problems with a lot of the stars diets.

High-fat diets are sometimes encouraged by those celebrities who hold claim to their own high-fat diets which can lead them - and anyone else following them - to heart disease.

It is fair warning that serious health risks can be caused by some of these stars diets.

Beyonce’s “Maple Syrup Diet” is a diet where all you consume for ten days is a mixture of lemon juice, maple syrup and cayenne pepper.

This will certainly make you loss a lot of weight FAST!

But it will also almost kill you….if not you, then your tastebuds!!

There are lots of crash diets like this Maple Syrup Diet which can send your body into starvation mode.  This means metabolism slows right down and fat begins to be stored in preparation for the starvation.

Sometimes celebrities have success with diets that actually are healthy and they have increased their fortunes from it.  Suzanne Somers is a major example of this with her multimillion-dollar business for her “Somersizing” diet.

The 40-30-30 Diet aka Zone Diet was followed by Jennifer Aniston who became famous from the TV show “Friends”.

She had great success with this diet and lost 30 pounds.  This diet has been one of the top searched terms for at least the last four years.

The #1 Best Seller (New York Times book list) “The Zone”, written by Dr Barry Zone was published in June 1995 and has had over 2,000,000 hardcover copies sold.

The Zone was followed by a second book called “Mastering the Zone”.  This was published in 1997 and also became a New York Times best seller.  There are numerous other books he has written since then.

Often stars diets are classed as a “celebrity diet” as other people follow it because their own favourite celebrities do.

Part of the success of the Zone diet is due to Jennifer Aniston being on the diet and her own popularity.

Another popular stars diet which is used by numerous celebrities including Sarah Jessica Parker and Minnie Driver is the Atkins Diet.

The Atkins Diet is very popular with both genders.

It is also a major in the modelling and entertainment industries.  This diet excludes potatoes, fruit, rice, pasta and bread as well as drinks which contain caffeine or alcohol from your diet.

Often people will jump straight into a diet because their favourite or a sexy celebrity is on it.  It is therefore painful for many Jessica Simpson fans because they don’t know what diet she went on in preparation for the “Dukes of Hazzard” movie.

The gossip at the moment is that she was on the 5 Factor Diet.

The US Weekly says this celebrity diet plan is hot and popular all over Hollywood.  It is rumoured that other celebrities like Eva Mendes, Alicia Keys, John Mayer and Kayne West – all Grammy Award Winners – have used or are currently on the 5 Factor Diet.
