Hair Loss Problems....and what causes hair loss?

Preventing hair loss can be a problem if you are growing older....it may be you are undergoing a few changes and hair loss is one of them.

Don’t worry your not alone!

Understanding the reasons for this hair loss can help you deal with it, or you even might be able to prevent it!  Here are some of the major reasons why your hair might be falling out.

Often the main reason for hair loss is genetics.  If you are a male whose father went bald or lost his hair, this is likely to happen to you because the gene is a dominant trait.

But keep in mind - even if you do have this gene, there are still nutrients and ways of taking care of yourself to stop your hair from falling out.

Hair loss can also be blamed on the make-up of a male’s hormones.  As they grow older, hormones may interact and function in a different way.  The hormones may stop focusing on the scalp so much, which will cause the hair to thin out.

If you are a woman, hair growth or loss may be changed due to an imbalance of hormones.  This is important to remember as your hormones change.  You will need different nutrients and maybe a change of diet.

Stress and Hair Loss also go together - as it makes the muscles in your scalp restrict and cut off circulation.  If you are stressed for a long time this can trigger hair loss.  But stress is one of the least affecting hair loss factors.

Hair care is very important in keeping your full head of hair.  The natural hair growth cycle results in your head losing about 100 hairs every day.

It is very important to brush away these old hairs to allow new hairs to grow through.  If the old hair is not brushed away for a long period, the root will be suffocated and no new hair will be able to grow through.

Another thinning hair treatment is washing your hair regularly....it is very important to eliminate any dirt which might stop new hair growth.  Wearing a hat regularly may also cause the same thing to happen.

Being able to understand the causes for your hair loss will help you take measures to prevent it from happening.

If you take care of your hair and keep healthy, it should be relatively easy to stop your hair falling out.

Taking note of the information provided here and putting it into practise will help you to create and to keep lots of clean healthy hair.
