Effective Hair Removal Techniques
Effective Body Hair Removal Techniques
Both males and females are spending more and more money on modern practices to eliminate unwanted
body hair.
And it’s not just on the usual men’s faces and woman’s legs!
In today’s society, people are removing the hair on their arms, backs, private areas, bikini line,
armpits and chests!
We really have to ask ourselves .… can we do away with so much hair on our surface areas?
Is it safe to do so?
YES!
If done correctly, by say a fully licensed professional, hair removal is both possible and
safe.
The fastest way to deal with superfluous body hair is by laser
treatment.
It comes at a cost but it is the most effective of all hair removal techniques.
Instead of electrolysis – where it takes ages because each hair is removed of individually (not to
mention painful!), laser therapy can zap a whole heap of hairs all at once.
This treatment is especially great for back, chest, arm and leg hair.
To have laser treatment on an area as large as your back, it can cost several thousand dollars –
per treatment.
Laser treatment can only make an impact on hair that is growing during the
treatment so several treatments are necessary as some of the hair will not be in its growing
stage.
There will also be places where the hair will regrow. This hair will be finer and lighter, but to
have permanent hair removal, the hair follicle needs to be executed so it can no longer grow hair.
A far less hefty and second only to laser treatment, is waxing. This body
hair removal involves pulling the hairs right out of their shafts.
The hair follicle itself is not damaged so hair will regrow, but you will have several weeks free
from hair in the area you waxed after this treatment. But be warned, there is a pain barrier for you to jump over
with this method.
If you repeatedly wax your legs, it will most likely eventually result in the follicle no longer
being able to grow hair. But this will take a long time and is not guaranteed so one shouldn’t expect their hair to
disappear forever from waxing.
Sugaring, another hair removal technique, involves the same sort of procedure as
waxing and combined about the same amount of pain – it is popular due to its use of a natural solution.
Sugaring can be easily done at home (preferably in the bath tub as it can be pretty messy) with a
syrup made from sugar, lemon juice and water which is heated. The heat process turns it into a ball-like shape.
It is then placed on the skin and spread out, allowed to harden before being rapidly pulled from
the skin in the opposite direction to your hair growth. This is process is repeated all over the section which the
hair is being removed from.
As sugaring is made from natural ingredients, it doesn't stick to the skin as much wax so tends to
cause less irritation. This treatment will last for around five to six weeks.
A common question about waxing is whether you can do it at home.
Yes! There are many products you can choose from at your local supermarket or pharmacy and you can
also buy sugaring kits for home use.
A lot of people get someone else to give them a wax at least for the first few times as waxing can
hurt a bit and it is sometimes hard to inflict it upon yourself.
If you want to successfully remove some of your body hair, try laser therapy or
waxing.
Whether it is large sections for sporting or competitions or for your own personal reasons, these
two are the most ideal for removing unwanted body hair.
