Permanent Facial Hair Removal
Facial Hair Removal Options
If you have unwanted facial hair… you are not alone!
It is everywhere.
Do you have superfluous hair on your face that embarrasses you?
Do you ever wish the hair was anywhere BUT on your face?
Facial hair can be a major issue – especially for woman if the hair is darker than
their skin. Hair on the eyebrows, chin, hair inside the nose, ears, upper lip and really anywhere on the face
can be a dilemma for anyone.
So what is the best line of attack for facial hair you don’t want?
Perhaps it is truly effective, or perhaps it has turned into a tradition but shaving is still the
main choice for modern men to remove their facial hair. This is obvious when you see the massive assembly of
razors, shaving creams, foams and gels on the market to assist men with shaving and avoiding skin
irritation.
But woman have a much less obvious choice for removing facial hair. Alternatives are also being
sought by many men.
The most common places for woman to have undesired and sometimes extreme facial hair is above the
top lip, down the sides of the face and on the chin.
Shaving is not the best removal option for this hair, unlike men.
So what can a woman do?
As there is usually a lot more of this facial hair and it is typically finer than the hair in the
eyebrows, plucking it is not very effective. It hurts and takes a long time!
A substitute designed to remove widespread hairs is what is needed.
Depilatories, waxing, electrolysis or laser treatment are all designed for this purpose.
The cheapest and very-short term hair-removal procedure is depilatories. One
must be very careful when using these on the face as it may irritate or burn the skin.
Depilatories only dissolve visible hair so every time new hair appears, the depilatory must again
be applied to the skin.
But there are two great things about this method… It is doesn’t cost much and can
be done by anyone at their own home!
But if you do not want to spend much time getting rid of your facial hair, permanent removals such
as electrolysis and laser are the best ideas.
They are permanent because the process causes damage to the hair follicle at the
base so it can no longer produce hair.
These two options both cost a lot and must be repeated a few times before they remove all the hair
and actually become permanent. But generally the smaller the area, the cheaper, less painful and more
risk-free it will be.
Waxing is a very popular choice for both males and females. When waxing, the
hair is pulled out of the root like with tweezers. The difference is though that it is a lot faster than
using tweezers because multiple hairs are removed at once.
Waxing is not permanent as it does not damage the hair follicle but it does take
longer for new hair to appear than depilatories because the hair is removed from the root not just the surface of
the skin.
It usually even gives you a few hair-free weeks! Some people wax at home, and some people get
someone else to do it because it can hurt.
So these are the most used and recommended ways to remove the hair on your face that you don’t
like.
